Confirmation time
A result carries the time it was CONFIRMED, and the platform records where that time came from.
- Provider declared
- The source published a timestamp the platform could verify, and that timestamp is shown.
- Platform read
- The source published no usable timestamp, so the time shown is when this platform read the result — not when the result happened.
The distinction is kept because a source's clock was found to be eight hours from UTC while presenting itself as UTC. The platform verified the offset rather than assuming one, and it does not silently adopt a timestamp it cannot trust.
